CrossFit Scottsdale offers 60 minute structured classes. All classes include a warm-up, skill acquisition/strength building/mobility and the workout of the day. Classes are lead by a trained and certified coach and movements are scaled appropriately to the individual. Once you have completed your baseline workout and introduction session, the coach will recommend which classes would be appropriate for you to attend.
Beginner CrossFit Classes
For students at an entry skill level. Introduction to the basicĀ CrossFit movements. Many movements that are done in class are unfamiliar. Focus on basic conditioning, movement, skill and technique.
Level I CrossFit Classes
Not a beginner, but still working on building a base level of strength. Must show completion of 9 basic movements.
Baseline time between 6:00-9:00 min. Starting to get to know the names of movements, but still unsure of the amount of weight to use, and still working on complex, olympic movements.

All Levels CrossFit Classes
CrossFit Fundementals. Review of the 9 basic movements. Scaling will be up or down depending on the students athletic level and strength ability.
Firebreathers
Advanced CrossFit Athletes Only. Student is confident and capable with all CrossFit movements and workouts and has made CrossFit Scottsdale a regular part of life. He/she is comfortable and confident creating workouts and is working on mastering specific skills.
Student has shown comletion of Level I band or is ready to test. Can serve as a model to demonstrate any movement in class. These students are looked upon as leaders in each class even though they are not coaches.
Olympic Lifting
Focus on the Olympic Lifting techniques & strength. Must have CrossFit Scottsdale Level I band to attend.
